A basket bag handcrafted from 168 individual leather pieces woven together with contrast rayon lacing. Features an adjustable strap with buckle, a flat top handle, and a canvas lining with a drawstring closure.

Utilizing new technologies and materials, Hatori combines the techniques of making Samurai armor, wood crafts and bamboo baskets to create handbags and accessories. Through revitalizing traditional crafts, Satoko Nakagawa seeks to find a balance between the old and new with a vision towards sustainable design innovation.
